Super Bowl Extravaganza

Eric and I are hosting about 20 of our closest friends in our tiny little house to watch the Packers (w)in the Super Bowl this evening.  It’s going to be a full house!  We’re excited to see our friends and eat tailgate snacks all night long.

To prevent our kitchen from becoming a disaster area, we offered to cook all the food, though we did ask our guests to BYOB.  Eric spent his morning cooking up a giant pot of chili. I rushed home from work to make a big batch of chocolate chip cookies.  We have three kinds of dips with chips and veggies (including some spirited green and yellow peppers) for dipping.  Eric’s about to start in on the cornbread.  And, just in case it’s not enough, we have three pizzas on standby.  Now I just hope everyone shows up to eat it all!

I’ve sampled the dips, and the best can be found here.  Enjoy!
