Eric’s homemade granola kicks some serious tail. I eat it plain or with milk or yogurt. He rarely eats it himself, but he makes sure we’re pretty well stocked almost all the time because he knows how much I love it.
Eric uses a variation of an Alton Brown granola recipe. You can find the original recipe here. Eric tweaks it a bit by avoiding the cashews all together and substituting craisins for the raisins. The recipe is pretty fool-proof, though, so you can vary it to your own family’s liking. Just promise me you’ll be careful not to skimp on the salt–it is what truly brings out all the goodness.
