living in a snow globe

The snow storm that is supposed to slam the east coast tomorrow is happily trotting through south eastern Wisconsin today. It’s my favorite kind of snow–constant, some accumulation, but nothing so bad as to really, really make travel all that dangerous. The hardest part is the shoveling, and that isn’t quite so bad, now, is it?

We made another snowman, who Jane ate this time instead of kissed. We got cozy tonight, ate homemade pizza we bought to support teens at our church, and read books (and books and books–do you like Freight Train? You’re welcome to come over and read it several dozen times any time you want). We’re happy here, and looking forward to settling in for the night. I hope you’re warm and comfortable wherever you are, too!
